

Calling All Young Creators! Are you a fan of manga, comics, or the bright colors of spring? We want to see your work! The NRH Art Fest is looking for youth artists to submit their masterpieces for a special gallery exhibition at the NRH Library.
Theme Inspiration
To help celebrate the NRH Art Fest and the upcoming Free Comic Book Day at the NRH Library, your artwork should draw inspiration from:
Everyday Heroes: Superheroes in "normal" settings- at home, in the classroom, or helping out in the community.
Characters: Characters inspired by your favorite manga, anime, comics, movies or gaming worlds.
Color Me Spring: Vibrant works that celebrate the colors and flowers of the spring season.
Submission Requirements
To ensure your work can be displayed, please follow these "Hero Guidelines":
Age Limit: Age 12 or 5th grade and under
Size: All art must be created on a single sheet of paper, 8.5 x 11 inches, in vertical or landscape orientation.
Format: Work must be unframed.
Display Note: Selected pieces will be pinned to the display boards; please be aware that this will leave two small pinholes in the top corners of the paper.
Digital Entry: Initial submissions must be sent via the online portal for judging.
Important Dates
Online Application Deadline: March 27th
Selection Notification: March 31st (Artists will receive an email with specific drop-off dates for their physical artwork at this time).

April 11th | 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, NRH Library Community Room
Library Gallery Week: Display continues through the following week Monday, April 13 – Saturday, April 18.
